Limited Warranty Coverage
Gold Castle Jewelers offers a limited warranty against manufacturing defects on jewelry purchased directly from us.
• First 6 Months from Purchase
‣ During the first six (6) months, our warranty covers issues resulting from manufacturing defects in workmanship or design, subject to inspection and approval.
• After 6 Months
‣ After six (6) months, coverage is evaluated at the discretion of Gold Castle Jewelers. We reserve the right to determine whether an issue is the result of a manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear.
What the Warranty Includes
Subject to inspection and approval, our warranty may include:
• Complimentary cleaning and inspection services
• Prong tightening when related to workmanship issues
• Minor polishing, when appropriate
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear
• Loss or theft of stones or jewelry
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or improper care
• Damage caused by impact, pressure, or lifestyle activities
• Chemical or environmental exposure
• Alterations, resizing, or repairs performed by a third-party jeweler
⚠️ Any third-party repair or alteration will void this warranty.
Understanding Wear & Tear
Jewelry is subject to natural wear over time. Most repairs are due to daily use rather than defects. To minimize the need for repairs, we recommend following proper care practices and removing jewelry during physical or hands-on activities.
Examples of normal wear and tear include, but are not limited to:
• Bent, worn, or damaged prongs resulting in loose stones
• Scratches or surface wear on metal
• Metal discoloration or tarnishing
• Rhodium plating wear
• Chipped or cracked stones (diamonds, precious, or semi-precious)
• Bent, misshapen, or broken shanks caused by wear or impact
• Resizing beyond the original fit or situations requiring a newly made ring
Repairs related to wear and tear may be offered at standard or discounted service rates, when applicable.
Jewelry Insurance & Protection Plans (Recommended)
Gold Castle Jewelers does not provide in-house insurance or protection plans. However, we strongly recommend protecting your jewelry through a trusted third-party provider.
We recommend Jewelers Mutual, a leading jewelry insurance company specializing in coverage for fine jewelry.
Jewelers Mutual offers protection that may include:
• Loss and theft coverage
• Accidental damage protection
• Worldwide coverage
